Not Booked Out Yet? Here’s How to Get More Wedding Clients—Fast!

Hello flower friends. this is Jen, and on this week's mini sode, I know that we've all, I've been talking about having difficult pricing discussions, having, you know, just discussions around tariffs and things like that. And now I wanna talk about your year isn't booked out with weddings. Now what, how do you get booked fast?
And especially with the shit going on right now? So if you are staring at your calendar and thinking, um, this is not as full as I hoped, don't panic in this many. So we are going to dive into what to do to help get you on your way to getting your wedding season fully, fully booked, and let's turn that worry into action.
I, I see so many people when they do worry, they start this like little spiral and this spiral is. A dangerous, dangerous thing, place, whatever to be. Because when you start spiraling, when your sprain starts going down this path, it is not a super healthy path. So first thing is I really want you to acknowledge this is normal, to feel stressed out when inquiries are slow, when you're not booked out.
But don't panic because panic doesn't book weddings. Strategy does and we need to make sure you have the strategy and you aren't just winging it. So also you still have time. There are plenty of couples book that book late and shifts plans and I mean, there's just a lot of people late to the party and you could be that solution.
All right, next thing let's just audit and adjust. Let's just make sure we're putting, you've probably heard the expression. Put your best foot forward. Look at your website. Is it clear, easy to navigate? And is it built to really convert people to connect with you? Is your Instagram speaking to your ideal client you want to attract?
Does your pricing match what you're showing online? Is there synergy between everything? Are your inquiry and follow up? Systems smooth. Alright? Then you really need to be loud and visible. So, so many people when they're not getting inquiries, crawl deeper into their little hermit shell, and that is definitely not going to serve you.
So you need to post off wedding flower date availability calendar. So in your Instagram stories. Put some dates in there that you're available and put open dates. This is gonna show for one all your pup dates, so like you're in demand, but two, help somebody. Oh my God. Those, they're, they're available my date.
I should reach out to them. Alright, share mockups past work. Bouquet flat lays. Remind people you are ready. Game on bitches like bring it on. Whatever you wanna do, I can do it. Let's just say you want to promote your a la carte or an elopement option For budget conscious rides, go live and show like behind the scenes, answer FAQs and show your beautiful, shining face.
People love to do business with people who make them feel good. Who have good energy, who really like, are excited, who would you would not wanna work with that is like so excited about what you're, you're doing and working with you, and then that like in excitement, just like soaks in and gets you excited.
Alright, this is where the work comes in. Networking. You need to network like crazy. Dm, local planners, venues ask to collab or update them on your work. You can share with them if you've launched an a la carte flowers program, that is great information to share. Like right now I have great news like I am expanding this.
Could, the move to the farm could be spun in a couple different ways. I could think, I'm really sorry, but I am over going to be like an hour out of Minneapolis now, so things are just gonna change a lot. Or I can be like, I am so excited. I am actually doubling our operation. We are doubling the capacity of what we're growing and I have brought on some really seasoned people who are.
You know, supporting me in a way to just crush whatever work that comes your way. Like how, how does that sound? Amazing. Attend local vendor events, open houses, or drop off mini gifts. I love. Many gifts. Oh, it's getting late. You guys. I love mini gifts. I love doing little themed gift sets. It just gets planners like thinking of you and going, oh my God, look at how cute the, the stuff they put together is, and on and on.
So like, doing something to like get in front of their face is so critical. You can, this is not my favorite, just saying, but you can offer like a limited time, you know, if you guys book a free toss bouquet who does toss bouquets right now, but free delivery or an upgrade, or even if you get $250 off your wedding package, um, if you book in June or August or, you know, whatever month is not busy.
All right. Then go after your old leads. You might think that they're dead, but hey, just wanna check in. Are you planning your wedding flowers? I have a couple of dates open and I would love to work with you, or, Hey, I still have your date available, and I would love to connect and see if we can, um, if you'd like me to send the contract over, or if you have any additional questions like those old leads, you never know the, the florists that they thought they were gonna go with could have totally burned them.
And if they did like that is totally amazing for you. All right? Then the next shift mindset, you are not behind. You are just at a pivot point. You need to have consistent, intentional action because that is what gets results. Book bookings can come when you ask for them. Be bold, so. Having the mindset that I am unstoppable, that this is going to happen, I'm going to book X amount of weddings, is going to set you up for success in this whole process.
If you're like, oh my God, I'm panicking. 'cause of all these, like that is going to be the dirt that is just getting flung on your grave. We do not want you in an early grave because of all of this stress and craziness. We want to come out that we are kicking ass and taking names this year. Your success is inevitable and you are going after what you want.
And so having that mindset to support that is going to help elevate you and your business. So if this mini so just gave you some little tidbits. Go take one action today to show up and get seen. Your clients are out there. You have to go and get them. It. It's, I love, I've seen a couple reels are like, nobody's coming to save you.
You are going, coming to save you. You need to get off your ass and you need to do things that are going to be impactful. And if you are one of those people who. Thanks. They're doing all these things. Do a time audit. If you were like, I'm at capacity, I would love for you to do a time audit because I'm guessing you have more time that you really even don't know.

I think it's like that time of the special time of year to freak out, and especially when we're already having a freak out because of tariffs and all of these potential things going on.
Like it's naturally, you start picking up, it's like, think of a really high powered magnet and you. You know, accidentally spilled a whole box of paperclips. Those paperclips start going towards your magnet, going towards your magnet, and sucking up all of that negative vibes. You need to stop with the negative vibes.
You need to move forward with good, solid feelings that you were just going to kick ass and take names and like. Like throw the magnet somewhere else because you don't need those things. Like, or whenever you go swimming and there's like, this is gross, but go swimming in a lake and then all of a sudden you come out with all these leeches on, you don't let all of these things leech your mojo.
